The BCBP Formation is a consistent process by which a member undergoes a process of reorientation of conversion, commitment and commissioning, a process which in order to be effective, moves from Head to Heart and ends up in the will, the seat of decision and desire.

The Formation Program shall have the following features:

 

1. The Formation focuses on the inner dynamics of the person's identity and growth. Formation  is a process and not the activities, the teaching tracks, etc. Because of this process, the person  is inner directed, interiorly reliable and dependable.

2. The program shall include tradition in the BCBP which shall be placed in written form i.e. purchase of songbooks, new songs every meeting, maintaining BCLP schedule of new  BCBP members as a phase in period etc.

3. Following the evangelization strategy of Jesus Christ with the first apostles, the program  shall focus on the role of all Action Group Leaders whether they be ordinary AGL's, UL's,  CH's , RCD's etc. to serve primarily by example and lead others to serve also by example;  "Imitate Me as I Imitate Christ." All should be members of active, functioning action groups.

4. Making use of existing and new teaching tracks of the BCBP, the teachings, seminars shall focus on transforming the movement of the message from the Head, to the Heart to the Will.

5. The program shall make use of retreats as a means of deepening relationship with God, as a time of discernment and as a time of personal encounters with the Almighty.

6. Integration of Family Teachings to the BCBP Way of Life and schedules without Conflicts.

7. Programs shall be on-going. It takes years for traits to become habit then Character.

8. The Formation program is a process of building blocks. Therefore there should be consistency of application irrespective of the changes in the persons of the Chapter Head and the Chapter Formation Director.
